You can find Marbles Kids Museum at 201 East Hargett Street. The museum commits to children’s exploration, family and community, and environmental sustainability. Events and exhibits include a bike rodeo, a Future Me fair, Ecosphere, Kid Grid, and Sea Shapes, all designed for children in the community. 

There are also plenty of events for teens and adults, such as the Imagination Ball, Moneypalooza, and 21 Marbles. The Marbles Kids Museum also premieres IMAX movies and offers lunch at their cafe, Bean Sprouts. Most importantly, the museum offers memberships, including exclusive offers for special events and yearly admission! Located at 416 N. Taylor St. in Wake Forest, Taylor Street Park Sprayground allows people of all ages to enjoy water play and unlimited fun! The Park Sprayground dedicates itself to safety, sustainability, and social awareness. 

It displays helpful directions on how to use the sprayground safely, a public schedule for all to know when the park is in operation, and a video and features that can help families or couples ensure this is the sprayground for them!

Two Roosters

With four locations in Raleigh, Two Roosters is a wonderful traditional ice cream shop that offers walk-ins or events for worldwide ice cream lovers. Two Roosters offers “forever” flavors like Double Fold Vanilla, Coffee Bourbon, and Blackberry Hibiscus. 

Their limited-time specialty flavors adhere to themes like Flavors Around the World, which can include Ube and Pistachio Baklava. Local customers can also order online, making it an even easier destination for the kiddos!

Art to Heart Trail

Art to Heart Trail neighbors the North Carolina Museum of Art and its 164 acres of the sculpture park, presenting so much more to look at! This 6-mile trail is ideal for family bike rides, exploring, and nature walks. Art to Heart Trail is easily accessible for all, with an easy path to reach many other places connected to the trail, like the Jim and Ann Goodnight Museum Park. 

This park features outdoor art and art along the sides of the trail, such as enormous wooden wheels and so much more! With many sights to see along the Art to Heart Trail, you also get to finish the trail in the city’s heart, which provides many other fun opportunities.
