The wildflower fields are absolutely stunning and worth the drive to reach them. We are so fortunate to have these fields here in North Carolina. The number of hours I have spent driving around and looking for flower fields is practically endless. Having farms plant flower fields that we can access for portraits is one of the best parts of living here!

The sunflower fields are one of the first locations that I was drawn to for North Carolina sessions. Every single time I go to the sunflowers I love every single image! While I have occasionally added some fall sunflower dates, these scream summer time to me!

Wild Wisteria
The wisteria seems to become more and more amazing every year that I live here! The past two years have been absolutely stunning, and I believe the wisteria may be my very favorite.....but of course I say that about so many locations here!

Peach Blossoms
The most beautiful peach orchards exist just a short drive from us. Every single year they become more and more beautiful. I love my sessions in the orchards rain or shine!

Strawberry picking
I have been visiting strawberry farms in the triangle area over the past several years. I love every single one of them! These sessions take place in April - early May depending on the timing of the ripest berries.

The tulip fields at Dewberry farms in Kernersville, NC are simply stunning! I love the flowers and the array of beautiful colors. These sessions are a favorite every year, and I can't wait to get out there every spring!

What says spring more than daffodils? I think they are the first little sign of warm weather, growth and beauty. I love the daffodils soooo much!

Christmas tree farms
While most of my seasonal locations depend on flowers blooming, Christmas tree farms have their own season as well. These sessions tend to come in October, and November before the rush of the holidays (and before the farms are open to the public).
